About 50 species of mammals exist in the national park.scientists have discovered 321 different kinds of butterflies. The wide green  area of the national park is home to an extremely wide variety of animal and bird species.Rare fauna such as the Wolf,wild cat,eagle,capercaillie, lynx and European brown bear can be found there, along with many more common species.The park is a ideal place for bird species,because it has 157 species of different birds.Recently about 20 different kinds of bat species are found in the Plitvice Lakes National Park.109 species of  different plants found in the national park.
